ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
\nSALARY : R 183 438 per annum
\nCENTRE : Chief Directorate: General Specialist and Emergency Services<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate
\n(or equivalent) with Mathematics and\/or Accountancy as a passed subject and\/or Senior
\nCertificate (or equivalent) with experience\/competencies that focuses on the Key
\nPerformance Areas (KRA\u2019s) of the post. Experience: Appropriate experience in Inventory
\nManagement, procurement processes and systems and experience in LOGIS. Inherent
\nrequirement of the job: Valid (Code B\/EB) driver\u2019s licence. Competencies
\n(knowledge\/skills): Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National,
\nProvincial Treasury Regulations and the Accounting Officer\u2019s System of the Department of
\nHealth including delegations, EPSi (Electronic Purchasing System\/IPS (integrated
\nprocurement solution). Good management and supervisory skills. Good written and verbal
\ncommunication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
\nExtensive knowledge Inventory (stores) management procedures, warehouse
\nmanagement. Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel, PowerPoint). Good leadership
\nabilities. No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key result areas\/outputs: Inventory control and warehouse management. Perform LOGIS
\nsystem controller functions. Ensure that all transactions comply with legislative
\nrequirements. Assist with the reporting of the Annual and Interim Financial Statements
\nwithin the Chief Directorate as well as the monthly inventory and lease reporting. Assist
\ninstitutions within the Chief Directorate with Supply Chain Management processes and
\nrelated queries, provide guidance and identify shortcomings within institutions and provide
\nthe necessary support. Supervise the Supply Chain Management Component, Identify
\nand provide training to Sub-ordinates. Prepare documents and attend the Regional
\nquotation committee meetings.<\/p>\n
