Brief Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

The South African Reserve Bank (the Bank), in collaboration with two of its subsidiaries, namely the South African Mint Company (RF) Proprietary Limited (SA Mint) and the South African Bank Note Company (RF) Proprietary Limited (SABN), here referred to as the SARB Group, actively contributes to addressing the country\u2019s skills shortage in the technical and engineering fields through its Work Integrated Learning Programme (WILP).<\/p>\n

Detailed Description<\/h3>\n

The South African Reserve Bank (the Bank), in collaboration with two of its subsidiaries, namely the South African Mint Company (RF) Proprietary Limited (SA Mint) and the South African Bank Note Company (RF) Proprietary Limited (SABN), here referred to as the SARB Group, actively contributes to addressing the country\u2019s skills shortage in the technical and engineering fields through its Work Integrated Learning Programme (WILP).<\/p>\n

The WILP is an internship and apprenticeship programme aimed at giving successful applicants maximum training exposure in the technical and engineering fields available within the SARB Group, preparing them for their trade test, national diploma or bachelors degree.<\/p>\n

Programme Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participants will be placed at the Bank\u2019s Head Office in Pretoria and will be rotated to the SA Mint and the SABN during the programme. Successful applicants will be grouped according to their field of study, namely artisans, technicians or engineering. The programme will start in May 2015<\/strong> for artisans, in July 2015<\/strong> for technicians and in December 2015<\/strong> for learners in the field of engineering. Participants will receive a work-based learning remuneration for the duration of their programme.<\/p>\n
