REQUIREMENTS : NQF 6 qualification in Public Relations \/ Media Studies \/ Communication Science
\nor equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience in communication
\nServices or Public Relation. Valid driver’s license. Computer literacy (MS office
\napplications). Knowledge of applicable legislative Government frameworks and
\nrelevant legislation. Strong supervisory skills. Good communication skills (both\u00a0verbal and written) including interpersonal skills. Good writing skills. Strategic
\nleadership and management capabilities. Presentation skills.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : To provide content for department publications. Develop policies and procedure
\nguidelines governing the implementation and distribution of information the
\ndepartment. To provide assistance and support to district communicators.
\nSupport, monitor and evaluate events in the department. Monitor and scan the
\nmedia environment. Budget management and supervision of staff of the Unit.
