{"id":21911,"date":"2015-03-30T08:33:49","date_gmt":"2015-03-30T06:33:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=21911"},"modified":"2015-03-30T08:33:49","modified_gmt":"2015-03-30T06:33:49","slug":"premier-industrial-engineering-graduate-internship-recruitment-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/premier-industrial-engineering-graduate-internship-recruitment-2015.html","title":{"rendered":"Premier: Industrial Engineering Graduate \/ Internship Recruitment 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have a drive, enthusiasm, a \u201ccan do\u201d attitude and have recently graduated with the following;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc.\/BTech in Industrial Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then we offer an exciting opportunity to join our Projects team where you will gain work experience in the following areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc.\/BTech in Industrial Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have some industrial experience.<\/li>\n<li>Statistical problem solving and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work with a cross functional team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Outputs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production physical standards.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct time studies (including changeovers) to determine line capacities and drive the capability framework to improve operational efficiencies (OEE).<\/li>\n<li>Ensure management of Shopware system to define, monitor and improve production standards for all machines.<\/li>\n<li>Compile weekly performance reports from Shopware system to address major reoccurring problems from the previous week.<\/li>\n<li>Project support: co-ordinate capex projects for value optimisation, efficiency and business development projects from feasibility stage to final commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in generating capex motivations and justifications for both capital and continuous improvement projects.<\/li>\n<li>Manage contractors and suppliers from quotation requests to the final completion of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for and co-ordinate Continuous Improvement projects for the site to achieve required cost savings.<\/li>\n<li>Assist production by co-ordinating activities to resolve production problems, optimising processes and defining standard running conditions (RTS).<\/li>\n<li>Assist in driving problem solving initiatives with various teams (production, maintenance, quality) and create troubleshooting guides for quicker problem solving.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and drive waste reduction initiatives and cycle time improvements in the production lines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a class=\"apply\" href=\"http:\/\/premier.erecruit.co.za\/candidateapp\/Jobs\/View\/150326-8\/Industrial_Engineer-_Graduate\" target=\"_blank\">Apply for the\u00a0 Premier Industrial Engineering Graduate \/ Internship Opportunity March 2015<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Closing Date: 31 March 2015<br \/>\nLocation: Elandsfontein<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Description If you have a drive, enthusiasm, a \u201ccan do\u201d attitude and have recently graduated with the following;
