A place is available in our Higher Education publishing department, which publishes tertiary subjects at university and university of technology level. The programme will run from 6 \u2013 12 months and is based at our Cape Town office.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What We\u2019re Looking For<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-motivated individuals with an interest in education<\/li>\n<li>A relevant completed or in-progress tertiary degree (e.g.: BA, Bcomm, languages, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken English skills<\/li>\n<li>Confident communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and good organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>A creative and collaborative approach to your work<\/li>\n<li>The ability to adapt to change and manage deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Proficient at using MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What We Offer<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time work experience in the various facets of book publishing including writing and content creation<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to marketing and market research activities, planning and projects<\/li>\n<li>Development of your presentation and relationship-building skills<\/li>\n<li>Networking with people in the publishing industry<\/li>\n<li>A supportive work environment with challenging and meaningful work<\/li>\n<li>A commitment to quality, innovation and a high level of ethics<\/li>\n<li>A monthly salary for the duration of the internship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a class=\"apply\" href=\"https:\/\/oxford.jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Job\/Index\/5505\" target=\"_blank\">To apply, forward a one page letter of motivation stating why you would like to work in publishing and your CV<\/a>.\u00a0 Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
