Degree majoring in Accounting or a National Diploma in Cost Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient oral and written communication skills in English, while the ability to communicate in at least one other official local language will be a recommendation.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy and knowledge of Windows spreadsheet applications.<\/li>\n<li>Financial accounting related work experience (a recommendation).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Summary Of Duties<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting in implementing the Municipal Finance Management Act and budget reforms.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in developing statistical reporting modules and financial policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Capturing financial data.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, security vetting and psychometric assessment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p>Kindly note that all applications for employment should be completed on the <a class=\"apply\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nelsonmandelabay.gov.za\/datarepository\/documents\/sUx2d_Application%20for%20employment.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><em>official<\/em> employment application form of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality<\/a> and accompanied by certified copies of academic qualifications.Z83 applications and faxed applications are no longer accepted.
