IT AUDITOR: COMPUTER AUDIT REF NO: 15\/105\/IA
\nSALARY : R227 802 \u2013 R268 338 per annum (All inclusive). The successful candidate will be
\nrequired to sign a performance agreement.

REQUIREMENTS : Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor degree or National Diploma in
\nAccounting, Auditing, Information systems, Computer Science or related field of
\nstudy; At least one year computer auditing experience; The Certified Information
\nSystem Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Audit (CIA) or other professional
\ndesignations will be preferred; Experience in the use of CAATS and Teammate
\nsoftware; Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, COSO and IT governance framework and
\nmust also be a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control
\nAssociation (ISACA) and comply with the Standards of the Professional Practice
\nof Internal Auditing or other professional standards; A valid driver\u2019s license. Skills
\nand Competencies: Communication (written and verbal); Financial Management;
\nComputer skills; Planning and Organizing; Programme & Project Management;
\nInterpersonal skills; Ability to work in a team; Client orientation and customer
\nfocus; Research skills.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Conduct computer audits in accordance with the
\napproved audit methodology; and ISACA and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
\nStandards; Execute and report on general and application control reviews on
\ncomplex and high level audit assignment; Formulate an audit program based on
\nthe outcome of the preliminary survey; Monitor implementation and adherence to
\naudit recommendations; Build relationships with external auditors and other
\nassurance providers; Perform audits using CAATS and Systems Development
\nLife Cycle auditors; Assist with IT risk assessments.<\/p>\n
