\nSALARY : R713 583\u2013R1 115 409 per annum. (Salary will be in accordance with OSD
\ndetermination). The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance

REQUIREMENTS : An LLB Degree or recognized 4 year legal qualification; At least eight (8) years
\nappropriate post qualification litigation experience; Admitted as an Advocate or\u00a0Attorney of the High Court; The right of appearance in the High Court of South
\nAfrica; Proven track record of previous managerial experience will be an added
\nadvantage; A valid driver\u2019s license. Skills and Competencies: Good
\ncommunication (both verbal and writing); Operations Management; Research,
\ninvestigation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing skills with attention to
\ndetails; Analytical thinking; Dispute and Conflict Resolution Skills; Information\u00a0Management.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Execute the mandate of the Office of the Family
\nAdvocate; Perform all functions and duties of the Senior Family Advocate (Head
\nof Office) in accordance with relevant legislation and departmental delegations;
\nEnsure effective and Efficient institutional performance of the relevant Office of
\nthe Family Advocate; Manage and ensure effective and efficient service delivery
\nat the various service points within the respective jurisdiction (Head of
\nOffice),Performance Management, conduct advanced enquiries, training,
\nmentoring and coaching of all occupational classes in the office; Identification
\nand implementation of Risk Management Plan; Reporting to the Principal Family
\nAdvocate.
