{"id":22298,"date":"2015-04-22T13:48:39","date_gmt":"2015-04-22T11:48:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=22298"},"modified":"2016-11-23T13:26:27","modified_gmt":"2016-11-23T11:26:27","slug":"transnet-bursary-scheme-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/transnet-bursary-scheme-2016.html","title":{"rendered":"Transnet Bursary Scheme 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please note that Transnet applications for bursaries open on 1 May and close on 31 July.<\/p>\n<p>Transnet welcome the interest you have shown in Transnet as a prospective future employer and trust that we can, through our bursary scheme, assist you to make your dreams come true.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Full-time undergraduate<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Full-time bursaries are awarded annually according to the employment needs of the company.<\/p>\n<p>All our full-time students are viewed as potential employees \u2013 depending on vacancies being available after successfully completing their qualifications.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Bursary Value<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The comprehensive bursary, covers the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuition fees<\/li>\n<li>Accommodation and meals<\/li>\n<li>Book Allowance<\/li>\n<li>Experiential training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students are allowed to study at a South African University of their own choice who offers the relevant fields of study.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Selection<\/span><\/p>\n<p>After the screening of applications by the Transnet Bursary Department, candidates &#8211; based on academic performance on secondary or tertiary level &#8211; will be invited to be interviewed.<\/p>\n<p>The interviews will take place in Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Cape Town and Durban.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The final selection and award is subjective to the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interview<\/li>\n<li>Satisfactory academic results<\/li>\n<li>Medical fitness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.transnet.net\/Career\/Bursaries.aspx\" target=\"_new\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Click Here to Find Out More on Application Process<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please note that Transnet applications for bursaries open on 1 May and close on 31 July.
