REQUIREMENTS : A recognized three-year diploma\/ degree or equivalent \/ and trade test in
\nElectrical Engineering \/ Mechanical Engineering \/ Civil Engineering \/ Plumbing \/
\nCarpentry. Experience in Operating specialised equipment, tools or hardware.
\nKnowledge: DoL and Compensation Fund objectives and business functions,
\nMaintenance sub-directorate goals and performance requirements,
\nCompensation Fund Services ,Compensation Fund Value Chain and business
\nprocesses , Relevant Fund policies, procedures and processes Customer Service
\n(Batho Pele Principles) , Specialised tools, equipment and hardware , Required
\nhealth and safety policies and procedures , Relevant external building industry
\nlegislation, norms and standards, Technical Knowledge. Skills: Required
\nTechnical Proficiency, Business Writing, Specialised tools, equipment and
\nhardware, Auxiliary Services.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Ensure that maintenance duties and general upkeeps are carried out in various
\nmaintenance premises, carry out duties to ensure the general upkeep and
\nmaintenance of the premises. Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety
\nstandards, legislation and Fund quality standards and procedures. Performing
\n(routine) Maintenance. Assist with the effective operations of the fund.<\/p>\n
