Requirements:<\/strong> A recognized three-year diploma \/ degree or equivalent and trade test in Electrical Engineering \/ Mechanical Engineering \/ Civil Engineering \/ Plumbing \/ Carpentry. Experience in Operating specialised equipment, tools or hardware.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Knowledge:<\/strong> \u25cfDoL and Compensation Fund objectives and business functions \u25cfMaintenance subdirectorate goals and performance requirements \u25cfCompensation Fund Services \u25cfCompensation Fund Value Chain and business processes \u25cfRelevant Fund policies, procedures and processes<\/p>\n \u25cfCustomer Service (Batho Pele Principles) \u25cfSpecialised tools, equipment and hardware \u25cfRequired health and safety policies and procedures \u25cfRelevant external building industry legislation, norms and standards \u25cfTechnical Knowledge.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Skills:<\/strong> \u25cfRequired Technical Proficiency \u25cfBusiness Writing \u25cfSpecialised tools, equipment and hardware \u25cfAuxiliary Services.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Duties:<\/strong> \u25cfEnsure that maintenance duties and general upkeeps are carried out in various maintenance premises, carry out duties to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of the premises \u25cfAdhere to Occupational Health and Safety standards, legislation and Fund quality standards and procedures \u25cfPerforming (routine) \u25cfMaintenance Assist with the effective operations of the fund.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: 05 May 2015 at 16:00 Applications must be submitted on form Z83, obtainable from any Public Service Department or on the internet at www.gov.za\/documents.
