We are seeking an enthusiastic Medical Technologist to join our team.<\/div>\n<div><strong>PURPOSE<\/strong><br \/>\nPerform a variety of testing procedures of moderate to high complexity to obtain data for use in clinical trials research.<\/div>\n<div><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Perform a variety of testing procedures of moderate to high complexity.<\/div>\n<div>Evaluate validity of specimen results as per standard operating procedure (SOP) guidelines. Document all corrective actions taken.<br \/>\nProvide oversight and guidance to Medical\/Histo Laboratory Technicians and\/or Assistants.<\/div>\n<div>Assist with training of new staff within the assigned group.<\/div>\n<div>Train staff Medical Technologists and Medical\/Histo Laboratory Technicians and\/or Assistants in proper laboratory techniques for existing and new methods.<br \/>\nMaintain quality control of laboratory testing to ensure accurate and timely lab reporting.<\/div>\n<div>Document corrective and preventative actions taken using good documentation practices.<br \/>\nAssist management in establishing new methodologies.<\/div>\n<div>Assist in completion of validation packages.<br \/>\nAssist management with implementing SOPs for laboratory testing and safety procedures.<\/div>\n<div>Implement changes in laboratory notifying all employees of necessary changes.<\/div>\n<div>Notify management when updates to department SOP manuals are needed to reflect procedural changes.<br \/>\nFollow safety procedures as per laboratory SOPs.<br \/>\nCollaborate with Project Manager with client requests and concerns.<\/div>\n<div>Notify management of any delays in testing and any related factors.<br \/>\nIdentify appropriate vendors and orders laboratory supplies as directed by management in order to maintain consistent workflow.<br \/>\nParticipate in continuing education through self-study, attending off-site lectures and preparing programs to share with coworkers.<\/div>\n<div><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Click here to\u00a0<a title=\"Careers Taleo EMEA list\" href=\"http:\/\/www.quintiles.com\/careers\/search\/10000\/\"><strong>search jobs and to apply<\/strong><\/a>.
