PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER 5 POSTS REF NO:\u00a0150515\/12

\nSALARY : R516 345 per annum, all inclusive OSD package

REQUIREMENTS : National Higher Diploma (Built Environment field). With minimum of four (4) years
\nand six (6) months certified experience. B-Tech (Built Environment field) with
\nminimum of four (4) years certified managerial experience. Honours degree in
\nany Built environment field with minimum of three (3) years experience.
\nCompulsory registration with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project
\nManager on appointment (proof of registration must be attached). Valid driver\u2019s
\nlicense.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation in line with
\nproject management methodology. Create and execute project work plans and
\nrevise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements subject to the
\napproval of the Project Manager. Identify resources needed and assign individual
\nresponsibilities. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope;\u00a0and effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards to minimize risk\u00a0on projects. Report project progress to Chief Construction Project Manager.\u00a0Manage project budget and resources in consultation with Chief Construction\u00a0Project Manager. Provide inputs to Chief Construction Project Manager with\u00a0tender administration. Liaise and interact with service providers, client and\u00a0management under the guidance of the Chief Construction Project Manager;\u00b7\u00a0contribute to the human resources and related activities. Maintain the record\u00a0management system and the architectural library; and utilize resources allocated\u00a0effectively. Keep up with new technologies and procedures. Research \/ literature\u00a0on new developments on project management methodologies. Liaise with\u00a0relevant bodies\/councils on project management.<\/p>\n
