Be a key brand champion and ensure maximum brand exposure and alignment to BSG&#8217;s core business. Be responsible for the organisation of all events (client, internal and sporting). Be responsible for delivery against the Marketing SLA&#8217;s. Be responsible for the annual planning &amp; execution of agreed project plans for all marketing related projects<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant tertiary degree, e.g. Bcom Marketing or appropriate degree plus Marketing Diploma<\/li>\n<li>Project management training e.g. PRINCE2 (desirable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the organisation, planning and delivery of all events (client, internal and sporting)<\/li>\n<li>Reporting (e.g. Balanced Scorecard, Service Level Agreements, Post-evaluations)<\/li>\n<li>With the assigned resource, develop internal &amp; external communications to support events<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the organisation, planning and delivery of Marketing related projects<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide coaching and mentoring to junior Marketing team members<\/li>\n<li>Building of relationships among divisions \/ functions within the organisation as well as with key external stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 6 years experience in a project and Marketing environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project management principles<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and experience using PRINCE2 project management methodology and an understanding of the project \/ system lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Project planning techniques<\/li>\n<li>Relationship management<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of supply chain management<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and relationships with suppliers \/ contacts<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of contracts and agreements<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Marketing industry trends<\/li>\n<li>Client Relationship Management &amp; Marketing Strategy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative problem-solving skills &#8211; predicts problems and risks and manages them proactively<\/li>\n<li>Ability to produce deliverables in the form of documentation consisting of detailed project plans etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to execute large to medium complexity projects \/ events<\/li>\n<li>Good administration skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good client liaison and relationship management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to compile business related communication, i.e. presentations, reports, documentation and detailed email communication<\/li>\n<li>Ability to conduct meetings<\/li>\n<li>Development of presentations (advanced skill on all Microsoft office tools and marketing related software e.g. Photoshop)<\/li>\n<li>Good written, verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to building successful relationships<\/li>\n<li>Good negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence others<\/li>\n<li>Good organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to conducting effective market research<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project \/ event planning and execution<\/li>\n<li>Contract and agreement management<\/li>\n<li>Proposal writing and presentations<\/li>\n<li>With the assigned resource, develop internal communications to support events<\/li>\n<li>Develop, implement and evaluate project \/ promotions and sponsorships<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the planning and logistics of all marketing projects \/ events<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage project \/ event budgets<\/li>\n<li>Brand activation<\/li>\n<li>Client Spirit Survey management<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the production of high quality business case studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Available after hours and on weekends<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><strong><strong>&lt;&lt;\u00a0<span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bsg.co.za\/web\/guest\/submit_your_cv\">Click here to apply.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BSG (Africa) has an opportunity for a Marketing Project Manager within the Johannesburg\u00a0Marketing Department.
