This is an inservice training position for a Food Technology or Food Science student. The position will be based at our bakery situated in Nelspruit.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is a one year contract position for a student who needs to complete their experiential training to complete their Diploma or require work experience to further their careers in the FMCG environment<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"requisitiondetails-label\">Minimum Requirements<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl25_requisitionControl\"><span id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl25_requisitionControl_lblLabel\">2nd year of Food Technology or have completed BSc Food Science.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Must have good written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Conflict management skills is essential<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Basic report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Assertiveness<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail is essential<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"requisitiondetails-label\">Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl27_requisitionControl\"><span id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl27_requisitionControl_lblLabel\">Perform daily shelf life testing of product<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and verification of product quality<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and recording information of metal detector<\/li>\n<li>Performing regular micro sampling \/ swabbing<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and recording the temperature and weight of product<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and evaluating bread on the production line<\/li>\n<li>Conduct training of staff in areas of Food Safety<\/li>\n<li>Perform hygiene inspections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a class=\"apply\" href=\"http:\/\/www.careers.rclfoods.com\/candidateapp\/Jobs\/View\/150511-8\/Food_Technology_Trainee\" target=\"_blank\">Apply for the RCL Foods Food Technology Traineeship<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Closing Date: 18 May 2015<br \/>\nLocation: Nelspruit<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description A large Food Manufacturing company has a vacancy for Food Technology Trainee.
