REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate recognized Bachelor\u2019s Degree\/Diploma in Building qualification; minimum
\nof three(3) to five(5) years relevant experience; Valid Driver\u2019s license; Knowledge of
\nNational Building Standards Act, Government Immovable Asset Management Act,
\nOccupational Health and Safety Act, South African Schools Act, National Environmental
\nManagement Act and other relevant prescripts and legislation; Computer literacy.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Monitor Section 21 allocations for maintenance; Undertake evaluations on completed
\nmaintenance projects; Develop plans to address shortcomings in terms of compliance in
\nterms of OHS requirements Environmental requirements and Quality Assurance
\nstandards; Provide assistance with preparation of disaster management plans; Develop
\nthe integrated District Disaster Management Plan; Draft Scholl Maintenance Plans and
\nbudgets on completion of projects through application of life cycle costs; Develop the
\nintegrated District maintenance plan budget.<\/p>\n
