REQUIREMENTS : A three year National Diploma\/Degree or equivalent qualification in finance,
\nsupply chain management, logistics or public management with 3 years
\nsupply chain management related experience or grade 12 with 5 years supply
\nchain management related experience. Good understanding and knowledge
\nof BAS\/Sap\/SRM is essential as well as computer literacy. Ability to manage
\nand lead a team. Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations-PFMA,
\nTreasury Regulations, GPG and public policies and procedures. A valid
\ndriver\u2019s license. Skills and Competencies: Computer Literacy(MS Excel,
\nOutlook and Powerpoint) is essential. Good planning, organising, facilitation,
\ncommunication, coordination, minutes taking. Good report writing, financial
\nmanagement and project management.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Coordinate submissions of procurement plans for purchase below and above
\nR500000 per case. Co ordinate development of departmental demand plans.
\nMonitor submission of monthly and quarterly reports to the relevant
\nstakeholders. Monthly analysis of reports and provide feedback to end users
\non variances and actual implementation of procurement plans. Conduct on
\nsite visits to monitor implementation of procurement plans. Train end users on
\ndevelopment of procurement and demand plans. Monitor coordination of
\nexternal and internal customer relation forums. Coordinate and monitor
\nprocurement of goods and services for purchases below and above R500000.
\nRelease of purchase orders as per delegated authority. Monitor the
\nprocessing of requisitions and goods receipt vouchers as per delegated
\nauthority. Monitor payment of suppliers. Monitor procurement of inventory
\nrelated items and ensure that procurement is done according to the allocated
\nbudget. Ensure that query registers are updated and queries are resolved
\nwithin SLA time frames. Supervise of staff. Ensure compliance with the PFMA,
\nTreasury Regulations, other financial policies and regulations.
