REQUIREMENTS : National Diploma in Engineering or relevant qualification with six (6) years
\npost qualification technical experience, Compulsory Registration with the

DUTIES : Manage technical services:- Manage technical services and support in
\nconjunction with the Engineers, Technologists and associates in field,
\nworkshop and technical office activities, Ensure promotion of safety in line
\nwith statutory and regulatory requirements, Evaluate existing technical
\nmanuals, standard drawings and procedures to incorporate new technology,
\nEnsure quality assurance of technical designs with specifications and
\nauthorize\/make recommendations for approval by the relevant authority,
\nManage administrative and related functions:- Provide inputs in the budgeting
\nprocess, Compile and submit reports as required, Provide and consolidate
\ninputs to the technical\/engineering operational plan, Ensure the development,
\nimplementation and maintenance data base, Manage, supervise and control
\ntechnical and related personnel and assets, Research and development:-
\nContinuous professional development to keep up with the new technologies
\nand procedures, Research\/literature studies on technical engineering
\ntechnology to improve expertise and to liaise with relevant bodies\/councils on
\nengineering related matters<\/p>\n
