REQUIREMENTS : Appropriate Trade Test Certificate, Ten years post qualification experience as
\nan Artisan\/ Artisan Foreman, Valid Driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
KNOWLEDGE AND\u00a0SKILL: Production process knowledge and skills, Teams work, Creative and
\nself -management, Customer focus and responsive, communication skills,
\nPlanning and organizing, conflict management and knowledge of OHS Act.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Manage technical services:- Manage technical services and support in
\nconjunction with Technicians\/ Artisans and associates in field workshop and
\ntechnical office activities, Ensure the promotion of safety in line with statutory
\nand regulatory requirements, Provide input into existing technical manual,
\nstandards drawing and procedure to assurance new technology and, Ensure
\nquality assurance in line with specification Manage administrative and related
\nfunction:- Provide input into the budget process, Compile and submit reports
\nas required, Provide and consolidate input to the technical operational Plan,
\nUpdate database and Manage artisans and related personnel and assets.
\nFinancial Management:- Control and monitor expenditure according to budget
\nto ensure efficient cash flow management, Manage the commercial value add
\nof the discipline related activities and services. People Management:-
\nManage the development motivation and utilization of human resources for
\nthe discipline to ensure competent knowledge base for the continued success
\nof technical services according to organizational needs and requirements and
\nManage subordinates key performance arrears by setting and monitoring
\nperformance standards and taking action to correct deviations to achieve
\ndepartment objectives. Maintain and advance expertise:- Continuous
\nindividual development to keep up with new technologies and procedures,
\nResearch \/ literature studies on technical \/ engineering technology to improve
\nexpertise and Liaise with relevant bodies \/ council on technical\/ engineering
\nrelated matters.<\/p>\n
