SALARY : Level 12: An all inclusive salary package of R 630 822 per annum. The
\nremuneration package consists of a basic salary, the Government\u2019s
\ncontribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and a flexible
\nportion, which may be structured in terms of the rules for the structuring of the
\nflexible portion and which may include a 13th cheque, motor car allowance,
\nhousing allowance and medical aid assistance.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS : A three year degree or diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification with
\nAccounting as a major subject and a minimum of five (5) years\u2019 experience in
\nan accounting environment of which three (3) years should have been on an
\nAssistant Manager\/supervisory level. Knowledge of the Public Finance
\nManagement Act, Treasury Regulations and Accounting principles.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Evaluate the compilation of annual financial statements and financial
\ninformation to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. Develop provincial
\naccounting policies and procedure manuals and monitor the implementation
\nand adherence to the policies and procedure manuals by all Provincial
\nDepartments. Provide financial management support to clients to promote
\ncredible financial statements. Evaluate the compilation of the submission of
\nmandatory financial information within the province to promote accurate and
\ncredible information. Advise, assess and report on the Implementation of
\nPROPAC resolutions. Evaluate KPI\u2019s for Boards and keep records of all
\nmatters related to the listing and delisting of public entities. Manage the
\nresources of the Sub-directorate.
