REQUIREMENTS : Basic qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice 425
\n(Degree or Diploma in Nursing). Seven (7) years appropriate and
\nrecognisable experience in Nursing post registration as a professional nurse.
\nExtensive knowledge of National Health Insurance and Primary Health Care
\nre-engineering. Good understanding of Public Health with strong decision
\nmaking abilities. Monitoring, Evaluation, negotiation and basic research skills.
\nAbility to communicate verbally and written. Good people management skills.
\nGood communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, social mobilisation,
\nnetworking, project and financial management as well as Computer skills
\nValid Driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Develop and ensure implementation of the District Ward Based Outreach
\nPlan aligned to the Provincial plans. Overall supervision and supporting of the
\nPHC facilities in implementing the WBOT expansion plan .Ensure that WBOT
\nservices are delivered in a comprehensive and integrated manner Facilitate
\nthe establishment and sustenance of the support groups. Facilitating
\ncommunication of referral guidelines and processes to support the delivery of
\nWBOT services within the District. Facilitating and participate in the
\ndevelopment, training and mentorship of health professionals with particular
\nemphasis on the team leaders. Ensure efficient management of resources
\ncollaborating with the District Health Information Management Unit by
\neffectively verifying data before it is exported to the District and reporting to
\nProvince Liaison with Local Government, Districts, other government
\ndepartments and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n
