\nSALARY : Professional Nurse Grade 1: R275 571 per annum Plus 13th cheque, Medical

\nrequirements Experience: A minimum of 4 years appropriate\/recognizable
\nexperience in Nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in
\nGeneral Nursing is required
\nProfessional Nurse Grade 2: R338 931 per annum Plus 13th cheque, Medical
\nAid (optional), Housing Allowance: Employee to meet prescribed
\nrequirements. Experience: A minimum of 14 years appropriate\/recognisable
\nexperience in Nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in
\nGeneral Nursing is required. At least 10 years of the period referred to above
\nmust be appropriate\/recognisable experience in the specific Speciality after
\nobtaining the 1 year post basic qualification in the relevant speciality.<\/p>\n
SPECIALITY: Critical Care Nursing Science\/Intensive Care x 6 (3 for
\nNeurosurgery & Medical Adult ICU and 3 for Cardiothoracic Cardiac ICU),
\nDOTT x 6 (Theatre), Critical Care Nursing Science\/Intensive Care\/Trauma
\nICU x 4 (3 for Trauma ICU and 1 for Medical Emergency), Advanced
\nMidwifery\/Neonatal\/[ Nursing\/ Science\/Paediatrics\/Child Nursing Science,
\nCritical Care Nursing Science\/Intensive Care\/Neonatology x 5 (Neonatal
\nICU), Paediatric\/Child Nursing Science x 6(Paediatrics), Paediatric \/Critical
\nCare x14 (Paediatric ICU and High Care) ,Opthalmology x 1
\nCENTRE : Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS : Degree \/ Diploma in General Nursing plus 1 year post basic qualification in
\nthe relevant speciality. Current registration with SANC as General Nurse and
\nrelevant speciality. A minimum of 4 years appropriate\/recognisable post
\nregistration experience as a General Nurse. Knowledge, Skills, Training And
\nCompetencies Required: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of
\nnursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices. Possess
\ncommunication skills for dealing with patients, supervisors and other
\nmembers of the multi-disciplinary team including the writing of reports when
\nrequired. Good human relations displaying a concern for patients, promoting
\nand advocating proper treatment and care including a willingness and
\nawareness to respond to patient\u2019s needs, requirements and expectations
\n(Batho Pele). Ability to plan and organise own work and that of support
\npersonnel to ensure proper nursing care<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure good nursing care that is
\ncost effective, equitable and efficient. Perform a quality comprehensive
\nclinical nursing\\practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing\u00a0standards determined by IALCH. Internal rotation of staff within the relevant\u00a0speciality will be exercised according to patients need. Act as shift leader in\u00a0Unit when necessary<\/p>\n
