\nCENTRE : Ephraim Mogale (Ward 8) and Polokwane (Ward 13)<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12\/NCS or equivalent and a National Certificate in Community
\nDevelopment. Minimum 1 year experience in community work. Valid drivers\u2019
\nlicense. Key Competencies: Knowledge Of: Batho Pele principles; Public
\nService Act; Computer Literacy; Dynamics; Culture and Language of the
\ntarget community. Skills: Negotiation skills; Presentation skills; People
\nmanagement skills; Time management; Communication; Computer skills and
\nNumeracy skills.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Inform and assist communities with access to the services provided by
\ngovernment structures; Determine the needs of communities and
\ncommunicate these to the relevant government structures; Promote
\nnetworks and enhance the activities of existing local community workers
\naimed at improved service delivery; Compile reports and documents, as
\nrequired, on progress, issues attended to, actions taken and outcomes;
\nKeep up to date with regard to all services rendered by government and
\nthe processes and mechanism to access the services; Conduct ward
\nprofiling.<\/p>\n
