{"id":23232,"date":"2015-06-16T14:54:16","date_gmt":"2015-06-16T12:54:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=23232"},"modified":"2016-11-16T12:19:05","modified_gmt":"2016-11-16T10:19:05","slug":"internships-at-hilton-college","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/internships-at-hilton-college.html","title":{"rendered":"Internships at Hilton College"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hilton College is proud to offer an exciting 1-year internship for recent graduates who are passionate about following a career in teaching.<\/p>\n<p>The main purpose of the internship is to provide an educational experience for graduates who are serious about a career as a teacher.<\/p>\n<p>The internship programme supplements formal, part-time study via UNISA.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is therefore to provide a rounded, challenging experience which exposes interns to a variety of aspects of the work they will do as teachers at a quality school.<\/p>\n<p><u>Interns for the programme are selected on the basis of the following criteria:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a degree with two possible teaching subjects, and be committed to registering for a post-graduate secondary education certificate;<\/li>\n<li>Or possibly already have completed a degree and post-graduate teaching certificate, and feel the need to gain experience via the internship rather than starting full-time teaching;<\/li>\n<li>Or be in the final year of a 4-year B.Ed.<\/li>\n<li>Have a demonstrable commitment to education.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to offer at least two co-curricular skills, e.g. sports coaching, drama, debating, music, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Be willing to be positively involved in specific school programmes and projects such as plays, concerts, field trips, hikes, sports tours, and outreach activities, where relevant and feasible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit a full CV and letter of motivation by 7th September 2015<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hiltoncollege.com\/vacancies\/1079-internships.html\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to Hilton College Internship<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hilton College is proud to offer an exciting 1-year internship for recent graduates who are passionate about following a career in teaching.
