REQUIREMENTS : A minimum of eight (8) years appropriate experience in social work after registration
\nas a Social Worker with the South African Council of Social Service Professions
\n(SACSSP). Knowledge of legislation involving the implementation of Children\u2019s Act.

DUTIES : Key Responsibilities: Maintaining the Child Protection Register. Interpreting and
\ncommunicating legislative requirements of the Children\u2019s Act to stakeholders relating
\nto the implementation of the Child Protection Register (CPR). Developing of
\nproposals to amend\/ maintain the relevant acts, policies and procedures. Develop
\nnew policies, procedures where required. Participate in intersectoral programmes to
\npromote CPR activities. Liaise\/attend meetings with other departments, Non-
\nGovernment Institutions and relevant stakeholders to take cognizance of the latest
\ndevelopments in the relevant fields. Assist in the programme development of the
\nChild Protection Register (CPR).

\nperformance agreement, complete a financial discloser form and will also be required
