\nSALARY : R 141 339 \u2013 R 662 397 per annum. (Salary will be in accordance with OSD
\ndetermination). The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance
\nagreement.

REQUIREMENTS : LLB or four year recognized legal qualification Extensive knowledge of the
\nmaintenance system; Proficiency in at least two official languages; Understanding
\nof all services and procedures in the area of maintenance and other areas of
\nfamily law; A valid code EB driver\u2019s license; Skills And Competencies: Computer
\nliteracy (MS Office); Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal); Numeric
\nskills; Communications skills; Facilitation skills; Ability to: Work with public in a
\nprofessional and empathetic manner; Explain legal terminology and processes in
\nsimple language; Manage time effectively and develop good facilitation skills;
\nThink innovatively and work in pressurized environment;<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Perform duties or functions of a Maintenance Officer in
\nterms of the Maintenance Act; Obtain financial information for the purposes of
\nmaintenance enquiries; Guide maintenance investigators in the performance of
\ntheir functions; Appear in the Maintenance Court and conduct proceedings in
\nterms of the Maintenance Act; Implement Bench Orders.<\/p>\n
