\nSALARY : R 183 438 \u2013 216 084 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to
\nsign a performance agreement.
\nCENTRE : Western Cape High Court: Cape Town<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 with typing\/ Secretarial Diploma or relevant experience\/ qualification
\nthat will enable the incumbent to perform the work satisfactory; Candidates will be
\nrequired to pass a typing test; A valid driver\u2019s license is an added advantage; The
\nability to do Dictaphone typing will be a strong advantage.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Answer, route telephone calls and make telephone calls on behalf of the Judge;
\nProvide general secretarial\/administrative duties to the Judge; Manage and type
\ncorrespondence accurately, judgment and orders for the Judge (including dicta
\ntyping); Arrange and diarize appointments, meetings and official visits and make
\ntravel and accommodation arrangements, etc.; Accompany the Judge on circuit
\ncourt and seat of Court; Safeguarding of all case files and the endorsement of
\ncase files with order made by Judge; Update files, documents and provide copies
\nof documents to the Registrar; Arrange reception for the Judge visitors and attend
\nto their needs; Any other task allocated by the Judge.<\/p>\n
SKILLS AND\u00a0COMPETENCIES: Good communication skills (written and verbal); Computer
\nliteracy ( MS Office ); Excellent typing skills; Administration and organisational
\nskills; Research Capabilities; Ability to work under pressure and to solve
\nproblems; Attention to detail.
