\nSALARY : R270 804 per annum (Salary Negotiable)
\nCENTRE : Directorate: People Development: AIDS Training Information and Counselling
\nCentre (ATICC)\/Regional Training Centre (RTC)<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: Health related qualification registrable with the
\nSouth African Nursing Council (SANC), Health Professions Council of South
\nAfrica (HPCSA) or South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC). Experience:
\nExperience in Primary Health Care as well as an authorised prescriber to assist
\nwith the mentoring model. Experience in In-service Training and Education.
\nExperience in primary health care. Experience in specialty areas. Inherent
\nrequirement of the job: A valid driver\u2019s licence (Code B\/EB) and willingness to
\ntravel. Competencies (knowledge\/skills): Knowledge of training material
\npreparation and implementation. Knowledge and understanding of health related
\nActs, Regulations, Guidelines and other related policies such as Nursing Act,
\nHealth Act, Public Service Acts, Occupation Health and Safety Act etc.
\nKnowledge on all Primary Health Care related clinical content and be an
\nauthorised prescriber in Primary Health Care. Ability to use all relevant computer
\napplications effectively, independently and with ease. Note: No payment of any
\nkind is required when applying for this post.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Key result areas\/outputs: Facilitate and teach the clinical programs, non-formal
\neducational programmes developed for the clinical areas. Facilitate the in-service
\ntraining, updating of skills and competencies in the clinical setting. Evaluate\/
\nassess the competencies and skills of health care professionals in the clinical
\nsetting. Effective coordination of clinical teaching programs in the clinical setting.
\nConduct content management and training outlines for training outlines for
\ntraining programmes for health care professionals as required. Assist with
\ndesigning and conducting additional training as and when required.
