{"id":23622,"date":"2015-07-15T08:39:37","date_gmt":"2015-07-15T06:39:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=23622"},"modified":"2015-07-15T08:39:37","modified_gmt":"2015-07-15T06:39:37","slug":"air-quality-internship-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/air-quality-internship-programme.html","title":{"rendered":"Air Quality Internship Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Digby Wells Environmental, a service provider to the resources industry, is looking for a Air Quality Intern in their Bryanston office.<\/p>\n<p>The Air Quality Intern contributes to the organisational goals by providing administrative support and assistance to the Atmospheric Sciences department.<\/p>\n<p>The individual will be trained to conduct air quality modelling and the associated responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p><u>Job Objectives:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of proposals and provide input into tender applications.<\/li>\n<li>File and scan all air quality related documents.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out dust bucket monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Compile data required for air quality models.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Air Quality modelling.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with research and interpretations relating to air quality.<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance with regards to the drafting and compilation of air quality related reports.<\/li>\n<li>Acquisition and collation of data through site visits using the relevant technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Requirements:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PC Literacy (Microsoft office ,Word, Excel, Project)<\/li>\n<li>Applicable legislation (NEMA, AQA, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Project management principles<\/li>\n<li>Air quality dispersion modelling<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisation and administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Report writing<\/li>\n<li>Strong time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Preferably a member of NACA<\/li>\n<li>Be able to demonstrate a strong passion towards specialising in the field of atmospheric sciences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Qualifications:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Air Quality Management or similar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Work experience:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 \u2013 6 months in an air quality field or related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The closing date for applications is 31 July 2015.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.digbywells.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Air_Quality_Intern.pdf\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to Application Process<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Digby Wells Environmental, a service provider to the resources industry, is looking for a Air Quality Intern in their Bryanston office.
