Expatriate Welding Superintendents \/ Supervisors
\nAppropriate qualification and welding codes and MUST have SERIMAX Welding Equipment certification
\nPrevious offshore experience as a Superintendent
\nExtensive experience gained as a Welding Supervisor
\nCurrent\/valid offshore medical suitable for geographical area of work
\nCurrent\/valid offshore survival course suitable for geographical area of work<\/p>\n

Job Location : Offshore \u2013 Africa<\/p>\n

Thai or Malaysian Welding Foremen
\nWith appropriate valid welding qualifications and must have previous working experience with SERIMAX Welding equipment
\nGood command of English and able to supervise and check the quality of work
\nPrevious working experience in West Africa is advantageous and be able to supervise Indian and Thai nationals
\nPossess current medical report, BOSIET and other offshore papers<\/p>\n

Job Location : Offshore \u2013 Africa<\/p>\n

Job requirements<\/div>\n

To be able to understand, interpret instructions received from Offshore Managers and ensure this information is passed on and used as identified<\/p>\n

To have supervised teams including team communication, delegation of tasks according to ability and responsibility levels<\/p>\n

Extensive knowledge of welding operations including emergency management<\/p>\n

To be able to demonstrate knowledge of use of emergency equipment and response in emergency situations including dynamic positioning emergency response<\/p>\n

To have an operational understanding of relevant industry legislative requirements and guidance notes<\/p>\n

Experience of managing and maintaining the safety of a team during welding operations<\/p>\n

Good working knowledge of equipment and techniques required to deliver specifications<\/p>\n

To have worked with and be knowledgeable about company safety management systems including Permit to Work, Operations and Safety procedures.<\/p>\n

To take responsibility for and manage all the relevant records and document control in support of the welding operations.<\/p>\n

Ensure that effective shift handovers including any safe work procedure and explanation of current working conditions take place throughout operations.<\/p>\n

Experience of working on a variety of vessels with dynamic positioning across geographical regions as a Supervisor<\/p>\n

As this role is responsible for a team of people, the role holder will be expected to have gained substantial experience managing people\u2019s performance including managing teams through change and working in support of people processes. The role holder will be expected to manage, direct, support and guide their direct reports.<\/p>\n
