\nSALARY : R532 278 – R627 000 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to
\nsign a performance agreement.
\nCENTRE : National Office, Pretoria<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS : A relevant Degree\/National Diploma in Information Technology; Experience and
\ncertification in ITIL, Cobit and ISO standards and a good understanding of
\nimplementing ITIL ICT service delivery; Three years\u2019 experience in IT
\nEnvironment with focus on ICT service delivery, incident and problem
\nmanagement; Project management experience in IT public sector environment
\nand exposure to IT policies, ITIL, Cobit as well as IT auditing standards. The
\nfollowing serves as recommendation. Knowledge of security & ISO standards, in
\nITIL and its implementation, ICT monitoring and reporting. Skills and
\nCompetencies: Facilitation and presentation skills; Interpersonal skills; Problem
\nsolving and decision making; Communication (written and verbal) skills;
\nComputer literacy; Attention to details.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Direct and manage strategic and tactical design
\nproblems management processes from an ITIL IT services management; Review
\nthe Infrastructures calls logged and manage the implementation of the solutions;
\nUse the ICT tools in the Department for monitoring the IT Infrastructure usage
\nand incidents; Produce ICT infrastructure reports and recommend corrective
\nactions; Develop policies, procedures and standards for problem management
\ndepartment, ensure compliance, review and update problem management;
\nEnsure involvement in the design and ongoing improvement of technology
\nrequired; Provide technical advisory service pertaining to IT infrastructure;
\nInitialize the ITILL best practice; Ensure effective people management.<\/p>\n
