PRINCIPAL HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER REF NO: 129\/2015
\nDirectorate: Human Resources Management
\nSALARY : R183 438 per annum
\nCENTRE : Pretoria<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS : Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate plus extensive
\nexperience in and knowledge of dealing with termination of service, leave
\nadministration, overtime and related matters. Sufficient experience in and
\nknowledge of Human Resources Administration dealing with, inter alia,
\nperformance management, conditions of service, service benefits and related
\nmatters. In-depth knowledge of the relevant prescripts and legislation such as the
\nPublic Service Act, Public Service Regulations, relevant PSCBC Resolutions and
\nother Human Resources prescripts and legislation related to the above functions.
\nGood organising, numerical and computer skills. Good verbal and written
\ncommunication skills. Sound interpersonal relations. The ability to interpret
\nHuman Resources prescripts and procedures. The ability to work under pressure
\nwith several different issues simultaneously. The ability to identify urgent and\/or
\nimportant matters. Receptive to ideas and suggestions from supervisors,
\ncolleagues and clients. An innovative thinker and be able to express creativity.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : The incumbent will be responsible for the supervision and handling of the
\nactivities of the sub-division, such as termination of service, leave administration,
\novertime, performance management, conditions of service, service benefits and
\nrelated matters. Give inputs for the improvement of Human Resources
\nAdministration procedures, guidelines and policies. Supervise, evaluate and
\ndevelop employees that are reporting to this position. Ensure that proper control
\nmeasures are put in place to administer and monitor the activities and resources
\nin the sub-division effectively. Render professional human resources
\nadministrative advice to and liaise with staff in the Department. Promote human
\nresources care and improve service delivery. Provide human resources
\nmanagement information support e.g. PERSAL\/database as well as statistics.
\nTravel from time to time as and when required.<\/p>\n
