The position is for a CAD Junior Draftsman learnership over a period of 10 months.<\/p>\n<p><u>Key Performance Areas:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Half the learnership will be spent undergoing formal training at a recognised CAD training institute<\/p>\n<p>Half the learnership will be spent doing practical work experience in a high tech product development environment.<\/p>\n<p><u>This practical experience will consist of:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Creation of CREO CAD models and drawings<br \/>\n&#8211; Design and detailing of precision mechanical assemblies and components<br \/>\n&#8211; Design and detailing of assembly, integration and test jigs<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Execution of a training project including concept generation, CAD model generation, generation of manufacturing data pack, hands on manufacturing of design and dimensional inspection of hardware<\/p>\n<p><u>Qualifications and Experience:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 essential<\/li>\n<li>National Diploma: Mechanical Engineering or N6 with trade test (Fitter &amp; Turner or Tool &amp; Die maker) will be highly advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Hands on experience with engineering workshop machines<\/li>\n<li>Drawing and design ability<\/li>\n<li>Interest and skill in computers\/drafting<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of engineering materials and their uses<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of machining processes and machining tolerances<\/li>\n<li>Flair for drawing\/drafting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Personal Attributes:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ability to visualise ideas and inputs in three dimension form<br \/>\n\u00b7 Accuracy and attention to detail<br \/>\n\u00b7 Patience<br \/>\n\u00b7 Self motivated<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ability to take supervision well<br \/>\n\u00b7 Initiative<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Desire to constantly learn<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pnet.co.za\/jobs--Junior-Draughtsman-Learnership-Centurion-Denel-Dynamics--2034864-inline.html?&amp;cs=true&amp;ssaPOP=1&amp;ssaPOR=1\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to Apply ONLINE<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Denel Dynamics is seeking a Junior Draughtsman for a Learnership position in their branch in Centurion, Gauteng.
