It provides food ingredients and value-added blends, surfactants for the explosives and fertilizer industries and chemical raw materials for local manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintenance and support for Syspro 7 queries and providing general support for current and New Business Divisions.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintaining and writing SQL queries, views and stored procedures and reports.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintaining and writing new SSRS reports to be used in workflow and other queries.<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaising with suppliers on development work for Syspro, Syspro workflow, TM1, SharePoint, Cognos Express and Cognos Powerplay.<br \/>\n\u2022 All integration needed from a Syspro and BI Systems perspective for acquisitions and divestments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintaining and writing new ODBC reports as needed by the business.<br \/>\n\u2022 Notes database support until last databases have been migrated.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure all AECI standards and policies are complied with on Syspro and Business Intelligence systems.<br \/>\n\u2022 Personally provide in-house expertise to the system development of the Syspro business processes.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide technical support for Syspro.<br \/>\n\u2022 Breakdown conceptual requirements into detailed requirements and interpret impact on other modules.<br \/>\n\u2022 Support the operation by identifying and managing new systems developments to deliver business benefit and to support systems on an on-going basis.<br \/>\n\u2022 Add value to the business area through the promotion of the concepts of business process redesign and improvement and the coaching of business personnel on how to achieve maximum business benefit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Propose and manage projects relating to the improvement and enhancement of Syspro and business related tools.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure project outputs are tested and checked before implemented.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Degree or diploma in IT development and programming.<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 3-5 years related experience.<br \/>\n\u2022 Formal Syspro training.<br \/>\n\u2022 TM1.<br \/>\n\u2022 SQL Programming and queries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Analytical thinking.<br \/>\n\u2022 Communication skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Influencing.<br \/>\n\u2022 Customer services orientated.<br \/>\n\u2022 Deadline driven.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/aeci.erecruit.co.za\/candidateapp\/Jobs\/View\/150724-1\/IT_Specialist\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lake International is looking to recruit a IT Specialist to work in Linbro Park.
