The Project Manager contributes to the organisational goals, by managing the successful end to end planning, execution and delivery of projects, to the required business objectives within the constraints of time, cost and quality<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities Project Initiation<\/strong> Project Planning \u2022 Ensure compliance, governance and applied methodology of projects to Enterprise Project Office (EPO). Project Execution<\/strong> Project Implementation Project Close-out Minimum Job Requirements Essential: \u2022 Post Graduate Qualification in a relevant field. Experience:<\/strong> Desirable:<\/strong> Knowledge of:<\/strong> Desirable:<\/strong> Skills:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 To facilitate the initiation process by obtaining documentation containing the objectives of the project.
\n\u2022 Ensure a clear understanding of the project goals and stakeholder expectations
\n\u2022 Obtain relevant authorisation to commence the project<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Effectively negotiate and define scope of work with all stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.
\n\u2022 Ensure projects are realistically planned, organised and resourced, to deliver against requirement \/ project plan.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Develop and execute a formal business change management and communications plan.
\n\u2022 Effective and efficient project administration including project documentation, schedule planning and maintenance.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Deliverable focused.
\n\u2022 Responsible for decision making within project boundaries, approved time, cost and scope.
\n\u2022 Accountable for the results of the project.
\n\u2022 To build and implement required processes and mechanisms to measure the overall effectiveness of projects.
\n\u2022 To mentor, coach, and motivate business and project resources to maintain project governance and align with business requirements.
\n\u2022 Manage and control project delivery through effective management and communication of risks, issues, expectations, scope change and decisions required.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Operationalise project successfully
\n\u2022 Monitor, amend and implement relevant changes<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Obtain sign off of implemented project and handover.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Grade 12 (Standard 10) with University Entrance (NQF4)<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 3 year Degree or Diploma and\/or Professional certification in Change\/Project management.<\/p>\n
\nEssential:
\n\u2022 Minimum 2 years\u2019 experience in the discipline of Project\/Change Management.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Proven exposure over an extended period to some of the following;
\n– Exposure to overall project\/change execution and implementation.
\n– Business case and report writing
\n– Stakeholder and relationship management
\n– Financial management
\n– Delivering results and meeting customer expectations that are associated with projects.
\n– Operational areas<\/p>\n
