What is the Strategic Talent Pool?<\/p>\n
Volkswagen Group South Africa is continuously looking for individuals with expertise in the Maintenance field.<\/p>\n
The aim of the strategic talent pool is to build a database of skilled individuals in the Maintenance field. Please note that there may not currently be positions available and screening will only commence once positions become available. Individuals will be notified via email as soon as a position in their field of expertise becomes available.
\nJob Description and Responsibilities The repair and maintenance of electronically and mechanically controlled machinery and equipment, i.e:
\n? Maintain, programs and manage all welding equipment in plant, which includes: ARO weld timers and spot weld guns (Robotic and Manual), British Federal weld timers, Euro weld guns, Inuie weld guns, CO2\/MIG\/MAG welding machines and Stationary\/Projection welding machines
\n? Implement and manage maintenance programs on all welding equipment
\n? Provide training on all welding equipment
\n? Keep records of all signed off welding parameters
\n? Upgrading of all welding equipment with new technology
\n? Researching new welding technology
\n? Keep track and making sure all welding systems\u2019 spares are available at all times
\n? Maintain Group standards
\n? Fault Finding on all Body Shop welding systems in the event of a break down
\n?Install, commission, program and maintain all new welding systems in Body Shop<\/p>\n
