{"id":24146,"date":"2015-08-11T14:49:02","date_gmt":"2015-08-11T12:49:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=24146"},"modified":"2015-08-11T14:49:02","modified_gmt":"2015-08-11T12:49:02","slug":"technology-in-teaching-learning-internship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/technology-in-teaching-learning-internship.html","title":{"rendered":"Technology in Teaching &#038; Learning Internship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of the Free State invites applications for 2 Technology in Teaching and Learning Internship opportunities in Bloemfontein, Free State.<\/p>\n<p>These are 2 year contract positions based within the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL)<\/p>\n<p><u>Duties and responsibilities:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the development of blended\/online learning material and activities with various learning technologies, including but not limited to the official Learning Management System (Blackboard).<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the development of online material, including e-Guides and open educational resources (OER).<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the development of e-Assessment activities, including the development of assessment question banks and scheduling of e-Assessments (Blackboard and QuestionMark).<\/li>\n<li>Provide support in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of student and\/ or academic staff training within the Curriculum Delivery and Innovation focus area.<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance with the collection and analysis of data, as well as report writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Requirements:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate computer skills, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively with others and have good interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good organisational skills and have the ability to manage events\/processes effectively and independently.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well under pressure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>The following criteria apply to the selection of candidates:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not currently participating in an existing learnership\/internship programme.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to sign a learnership\/internship agreement with the UFS.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be available for a period of 1 year.<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate qualification will serve as a recommendation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Closing Date: 18 August 2015<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pshr.ufs.ac.za\/psp\/hrprd\/EMPLOYEE\/HRMS\/c\/HRS_HRAM.HRS_APP_SCHJOB.GBL?FOCUS=Applicant&amp;\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to UFS Application Process<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ufs.ac.za\/templates\/vacancies\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to UFS Vacancy Page<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of the Free State invites applications for 2 Technology in Teaching and Learning Internship opportunities in Bloemfontein, Free State.
