\nSALARY : R 242 382 per annum (Total package of R338 010 per annum\/ conditions Apply)
\nCENTRE : North West and Northern Cape<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate 3-year Bachelor\u2019s Degree\/National Diploma in
\nForestry\/Natural\/Environmental Science or Grade 12 coupled with extensive
\nrelevant experience in natural resource management and alien vegetation. Sound
\nproject management skills, good communication skills and sound organisation
\nand planning skills. Knowledge of Working for Water policies and procedures,
\nknowledge of legislation relevant to alien vegetation control will serve as an\u00a0added advantage. Knowledge of the Public Service and Departmental
\nprocedures and prescripts. Computer literacy, knowledge of the Public Finance
\nManagement Act (PFMA). People management, change management and
\nempowerment skills. Valid driver\u2019s licence and willingness to travel and work long
\nhours with limited supervision.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Provide project planning support services to the project by developing a strategic
\nclearing plan and an Annual Plan of Operation (APO) for approval of budget
\nallocation. Facilitate the implementation of project plans through the
\nestablishment of project advisory committees. Monitor implementation of project
\nplans by conducting site audits to ensure compliance with Working for Water
\npolicies\/standards, health and safety prescripts and various environment and
\nagriculture legislation which govern alien vegetation control. Render project close
\nout services by conducting final site inspections and facilitating in the handing
\nover of cleared land to the land user.<\/p>\n
