Requirement Overview We are currently seeking to appoint a Payroll Clerk for our City Deep, Johannesburg business unit. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Practitioner, the ideal candidate will manage the full payroll function on site.<\/p>\n
Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/strong> Educational Requirements<\/strong> Experience Requirements<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Accurate and timeous capturing of all relevant payroll data for payment purposes
\n\u2022 Processing all payroll deductions
\n\u2022 Preparing third party schedules for payment
\n\u2022 Addressing and resolving employees\u2019 payroll queries timeously
\n\u2022 Benefit administration (E.g. applications of new provident fund members, complete provident fund withdrawal forms, follow-up on payments, management of employee medical aid details, etc.)
\n\u2022 Accurate and timely submission of payroll information and ad hoc reports for monthly reporting purposes
\n\u2022 Liaise with line management and Human Resources regarding all payroll related matters and queries
\n\u2022 Monitor and review information on the payroll system to ensure all information is accurate and up to date
\n\u2022 General administrative duties, including up to date keeping of employee files
\n\u2022 Assist with day-to-day Human Resources functions<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Relevant tertiary qualification in Payroll Management or similar
\n\u2022 Completed short courses in tax and\/or benefits administration<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Payroll system experience \u2013 Experience in Resource Link payroll system will be an added advantage
\n\u2022 Management of an electronic timekeeping system – Essential
\n\u2022 Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in fortnightly\/weekly payroll administration \u2013 ideally within a manufacturing environment
\n\u2022 Generalist human resources experience<\/p>\n
