Established Woodmead based niche MARKET leader working at the fore front of technology require a senior java developer with strong CORE JAVA skills to join their expanding team.<\/p>\n

\u2022You’ll form part of the core team developing flagship cutting edge products
\n\u2022Involvement in adoption of new technologies and trends as well as exposure to broad range of existing technologies.
\n\u2022Involvement in various aspects of the development process from conceptualizing to final delivery.
\n\u2022Involvement with development team abroad.
\nCompetencies and skills required:<\/p>\n

\u2022The candidate must demonstrate exceptional creative and complex problem solving ability.
\n\u2022Tenacity and attention to detail.
\n\u2022A passion for technology.
\n\u2022Ability to adapt and learn at a rapid pace.
\n\u2022Exposure to development of high performance, scalable applications.
\n\u2022Thorough understanding of threading and concurrency.
\n\u2022Experience in test driven development.
\n\u2022Extensive experience in API design.
\n\u2022Experience in using various design patterns.
\n\u2022SQL, relational databases and persistence frameworks (Hibernate).
\n\u2022Experience in developing applications based on Java Enterprise technologies (JMS, JMX, EJB, JPA).
\n\u2022Experience in developing client server applications using Java SE networking (Sockets, NIO).
\nAdvantage:
\n\u2022Experience in Swing (UI) development.
\n\u2022Experience in using a revision control system (Subversion, CVS).
\n\u2022Experience in using the Java cryptographic libraries (JCE).
\n\u2022Exposure to UML.
\nThis is a permanent position based in the Woodmead area offering a guaranteed salary from R600k to R750k per annum cost to company<\/p>\n
