{"id":24386,"date":"2015-08-27T10:24:56","date_gmt":"2015-08-27T08:24:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=24386"},"modified":"2016-06-29T09:54:38","modified_gmt":"2016-06-29T07:54:38","slug":"bursary-scholarship-programme-2016-at-digby-wells-environmental","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/bursary-scholarship-programme-2016-at-digby-wells-environmental.html","title":{"rendered":"Bursary \/ Scholarship Programme 2016 at Digby Wells Environmental"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Closing Date: 31 August 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Digby Wells Environmental invites undergraduates registering for 1st, 2nd\u00a0year,\u00a03rd year and Post Graduate studies\u00a0for the 2016 academic year,\u00a0to apply for entrance to\u00a0our bursary programme.\u00a0 This programme provides tertiary education access and employment for a selected number of learners who are academically capable and want a career in managing the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Our bursary programme includes financial aid, comprising of tuition fees, a laptop, and book allowance. Learners, who will be inducted into the Company, will also receive paid vacation employment with practical training and on-site exposure, on-going mentorship from our highly experience staff and\u00a0full-time\u00a0employment on graduation.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"headerText-Olny\">Eligibility<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Learners must demonstrate academic potential;<\/li>\n<li>Learners must be South African citizens;<\/li>\n<li>Preference may be given to historically disadvantaged learners;<\/li>\n<li>Funding may only be awarded for full time study;<\/li>\n<li>The learners must demonstrate a high level of passion towards working outdoors, and want to contribute and make a difference to the environment;<\/li>\n<li>The application process is highly competitive and potential applicants must be able to demonstrate both a high degree of motivation and the preparation and ability required to complete their studies; and<\/li>\n<li>Learners must be prepared to sign an employment contract with the company prior to the 2016 academic year commencing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"headerText-Olny\">Approved fields of study<\/div>\n<p>Students must be eligible and want to study towards a career in the Environmental Industry.
