REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate Trade Test certificate in Earth moving equipment
\nmechanic\/Construction plant mechanic\/Diesel mechanic; plus Possession of a
\nvalid driver\u2019s licence (minimum Code C1). Technical analysis knowledge.
\nTechnical Report writing knowledge. Knowledge of Computer Aided technical
\napplications. Knowledge of legal compliance. Knowledge of production process
\nand skills. Knowledge of technical consulting. Problem solving and analysis skills.
\nDecision making skills. Teamwork skills. Creativity skills. Self-management skills.
\nCustomer focus and responsiveness skills. Communication skills. Computer
\nskills. Planning and organizing skills. The ideal candidates must be analytical,

DUTIES : Design: Produce designs according to client specification and within limits of
\nproduction capability. Production: Produce objects with material and equipment
\naccording to job specification and recognized standards. Quality assure produced
\nobjects. Maintenance: Inspect equipment and\/or facilities for technical faults.
\nRepair equipment and facilities according to standards. Test repaired equipment
\nand\/or facilities against specifications. Service equipment and\/or facilities
\naccording to schedule. Quality assure serviced and maintained equipment and\/or
\nfacilities. Perform administrative and related functions: Compile and submit
\nreports. Provide inputs to the operational plan. Keep and maintain job
\nrecord\/register. Supervise and mentor staff. Maintain expertise: Continuous
\nindividual development to keep up with new technologies and procedures.<\/p>\n
