\nSALARY : R 295 635 per annum (plus benefits)

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Social Work with a minimum of 7 years appropriate
\nexperience in social work after registration as Social Worker with the South
\nAfrican Council for Social Services Professions. Knowledge and understanding of
\nlegislative, policy, procedures and processes related to youth in conflict with the
\nlaw. Knowledge and understanding of Departmental Social Work Strategy,
\nprocedures and policies. Knowledge and understanding of Social dynamics,
\nhuman behaviour and social systems. Knowledge of Social Work empowerment
\ninterventions. Ability to intervene and resolve conflict of a complex nature. Proven
\ncommunication, problem solving, planning, organising, project management,
\nnetworking, report writing as well as interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Supervise and guide the design of diversion programme. Monitor the
\nimplementation of diversion programme in line with legislative requirements.
\nSupervise the implementation of perpetrator programme. Guide and supervise
\nthe design of life skills programmes. Supervise and monitor the implementation of
\nlife skills programmes. Guide and supervise home based and family preservation
\nprogramme. Supervise and monitor the rollout of home based and family
\npreservation programme. Assist in the review of family preservation programmes.
\nManage and conclude on staff performance agreements, assessments, training
\ndevelopments, leave plans, grievances and disciplinary matters.<\/p>\n
