REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate B Degree, National Diploma or equivalent qualification on NQF
\nLevel 6. One year experience in a court environment will be an advantage.
\nSound co-ordination and counselling experience. Knowledge of the criminal
\nJustice System. Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
\nExcellent administrative skill, good communication skills and problem solving
\nskills and ability to work well with children<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Provide holistic and integrated care for victims of crime, customers and
\nwitnesses within the court environment. Prevent secondary traumatization by
\nproviding a safe and secure environment in which to testify. Implement court
\npreparation for children and adult victims of crime, customers and witnesses
\nand perform all other duties in relation thereto. Liaise with the investigating
\nofficers and social workers. Liaise with and report to the Prosecutor \/
\nManager. Perform all duties in accordance with general accepted court
\npreparation technique.<\/p>\n
