Requirements: A recognized National Diploma in Building or Equivalent or N3 certificate or Equivalent with Passed Trade Test. A valid Drivers\u2019 License. A minimum of 1 year appropriate post qualification experience.<\/p>\n
COMPETENCIES: National Building Standards Act of 1977, Regulations and Municipal Regulations. Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000. Promotion of Administrative Justice Act of 2000. Government Immovable Asset Management Act of 2007. Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993 and Regulations. Public Finance Management Act.<\/p>\n
SKILLS<\/p>\n
Planning and organizing, verbal and written communication and computer literacy skills.
\nDuties: Provide technical inputs to Client\u2019s Department in drawing up specifications and monitor compliance by service providers regarding health and safety matters. Implement regular compliance inspections and audits. Conduct investigations into accidents and clients complaints. Make recommendations on mitigation measures to prevent recurrence of accidents. Provide technical advice regarding works inspection services.<\/p>\n
