{"id":24814,"date":"2015-09-23T12:34:04","date_gmt":"2015-09-23T10:34:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=24814"},"modified":"2015-09-23T12:34:04","modified_gmt":"2015-09-23T10:34:04","slug":"schauenburg-education-trust-bursary-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/schauenburg-education-trust-bursary-programme.html","title":{"rendered":"Schauenburg Education Trust Bursary Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Schauenburg Education Trust focuses on selecting and financing students to obtain qualifications which have been identified as scarce skills and which will ensure that these skills are available for employment in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>For the foreseeable future, Schauenburg Education Trust will focus on providing bursaries to students in their third and fourth year of study in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at specified universities.<\/p>\n<p><u>HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR A BURSARY IN 2016 &amp; WHAT MUST I BE STUDYING?<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Bursaries for the 2016 academic year are intended to cover third and fourth year students studying Electrical Engineering Degrees (through specified universities) who are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Black as per BEE legislation, with preference given to Black women, Black students under 35 years of age, and Black disabled students;<\/li>\n<li>South African citizens with valid ID numbers;<\/li>\n<li>Willing to attend interviews and undergo psychometric testing;and<\/li>\n<li>Willing to spend university holidays doing vacation work or job shadowing at Schauenburg Systems (Pty) Ltd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>To apply for this bursary, students must be:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>full time second or third year students and;<\/li>\n<li>studying Electrical Engineering Degrees (BEng or BSc);<\/li>\n<li>at specified accredited South African universities (no bursaries for the 2016 academic year will be awarded to students for studies at a university of technology or college).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>ho can apply?<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Second or third year students studying Electrical Engineering Degrees (BEng or BSc) can apply for bursaries for their third and fourth year of study.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must have taken Maths (not Maths Literacy), Science and English in their matric year and achieved a minimum of a level 6 for all 3 subjects.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must also be able to show that they have made good academic progress during their First and Second year of their tertiary education while studying towards obtaining a degree in Electrical Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must have passed all courses for which they have registered while at university.<\/p>\n<p>Closing Date: 30 October 2015<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/schauenburg.co.za\/bursaries\/\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to ONLINE Application Process<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Schauenburg Education Trust focuses on selecting and financing students to obtain qualifications which have been identified as scarce skills and which will ensure that these skills are available for&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[334],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
