\nCENTRE : West Rand District Region A<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS : Certificate in Health Promotion or equivalent qualification In health Promotion
\nwith at least 3 Years relevant experience or Senior Certificate\/National
\nCertificate (Vocational) with at least 5-8 years relevant experience in Health
\nPromotion field . Ability to work with the community. A valid driver\u2019s license.
\nPresentation, negotiation and dispute resolution skill, knowledge in
\ncommunity health programmes. Good communication skills and interpersonal
\nrelations. Knowledge of relevant Acts, Regulations and Policies with regard to
\nhealth promotion and knowledge of Public Finance Management Act.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Co-ordinate community programmes for health related issues. Management
\nof record keeping\/filing in health promotion office. Participate and lead the
\narrangements of awareness campaigns and events of healthy lifestyle
\nprogrammes. Ensure Stakeholder mobilization and involvement. Act as
\nresource and consultancy centre for health promotion in the community.
\nSupport and mentor Health Promoters. Ensure Community development and
\nempowerment. Ensure Implementation of project management for health
\npromotion. Lead implementation of IMCI\/HECI\/\/HPS\/ISP and support WBOT
\nactivities.<\/p>\n
