\nFacility Maintenance Hub, 1 x TMI Facility Maintenance Hub, 1 x Discovery

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate Trade Test Certificate, Minimum of 10 years post qualification
\nexperience as an Artisan\/Artisan Foreman, Computer literacy, A valid Driver\u2019s
\nLicense.<\/p>\n
COMPETENCIES: Knowledge of the National Building Regulation
\nand Building Standards Act No 103 of 1977, Regulations and Municipal
\nRegulations, Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000, Promotion of
\nAdministrative Justice Act of 2000. Government Immovable Asset
\nManagement Act of 2007 and Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993
\nand Regulations.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Manage technical personnel, Manage Division Meetings, Manage job
\nassessments for the Division, Manage material requirements for the Division,
\nManage availability of tools and materials for the Division, Manage client
\ninteraction and relations, Manage scheduling of work, Manage the overall
\nproductivity of the Division, Manage the development of maintenance
\nschedules, Enforce compliance for the keeping of maintenance schedules
\nand records. Undertake research and literature studies, Apply research
\nfindings in the work environment, Sign performance based on approved Job
\nDescriptions, Strategic and Annual Performance Plans of the Department,
\nManage human resources and maintain discipline, Manage the provision of
\nequipment required by personnel for achievement of outputs in their
\nrespective Job Descriptions, Manage skills transfer between personnel and
\noutside technical assistants and\/or consultants, Plan and allocate work
\nresponsibilities and processes to control work performance including quality
\nassurance. Managing staff performance and budget.<\/p>\n
