Ermelo (REF.WS07\/10\/2015), Thohoyandou (REF.WS08\/10\/2015) f or 2016 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidat es with a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with 40% (E symbol) or higher for Mathematics (not mathematics literacy) as well as 40% or higher for Physical Science are invited to apply for learnership to undergo ten (10) months observation training at the SA Weather Service Regional Training Centre in Pretoria, commencing February 2016<\/p>\n<p>Candidates will receive training in all aspects of weather observation as per the National Certificate in Weather Observation. (SAQA QUAL ID no 58995)<\/p>\n<p>After completion of training, successful candidates may be appointed at regional offices where shift work will necessitate having a valid driver\u2019s license. It will thus be expected of the learnership holders to obtain a driver license within the training year, at own cost. Good in terpersonal relations and computer literacy will serve as additional recommendations.<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p>Applications must be submitted on the prescribed <a class=\"apply\" href=\"http:\/\/www.weathersa.co.za\/images\/Bursaries\/Application_form_2016.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">SA Weather Service learnership application form<\/a>, obtainable from the SA Weather Service website:<a class=\"apply\" href=\"http:\/\/www.weathersa.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.weathersa.co.za<\/a>\u00a0 or contact Ms. Gugu Maphisa (012 367 6214),<a class=\"apply\" href=\"mailto:gugu.maphisa@weathersa.co.za\" target=\"_blank\">gugu.maphisa@weathersa.co.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In order to be considered, the learnership application form ( <a class=\"apply\" href=\"http:\/\/www.weathersa.co.za\/images\/Bursaries\/Application_form_2016.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">make use of the bursary application form)<\/a> should also be accompanied by certified copies of matriculation certificates and a testimonial.<\/p>\n<p>Please also state the relevant Ref. no for the respective region you are applying for.
