{"id":24918,"date":"2015-09-29T12:54:13","date_gmt":"2015-09-29T10:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=24918"},"modified":"2016-07-07T00:16:47","modified_gmt":"2016-07-06T22:16:47","slug":"exciting-learnership-programme-at-momentum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/exciting-learnership-programme-at-momentum.html","title":{"rendered":"Exciting Learnership Programme at Momentum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Momentum Short-term Insurance, in partnership with INSETA (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority), is offering young South Africans a fantastic learning opportunity in the short-term insurance industry.<\/p>\n<p>The Learnership Programme, which will commence in February 2016 at our head office in Centurion, offers participants the opportunity to develop their skills and gain short-term-insurance specific experience.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, successful graduates of this programme will receive a formal National Certificate: Short-Term Insurance, NQF level 4.<\/p>\n<p><u>Participants of the Learnership will receive a fixed monthly allowance<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The applicant should meet these requirements:<\/li>\n<li>Be between 18 and 25 years old<\/li>\n<li>Be able to speak, read and write English<\/li>\n<li>Passed Matric (a pass in mathematics, maths literacy or accounting will be beneficial)<\/li>\n<li>Be computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Currently unemployed or have no work experience<\/li>\n<li>No tertiary qualification<\/li>\n<li>Not be registered for any other learnership<\/li>\n<li>Interested in pursuing a career in short-term insurance<\/li>\n<li>Have a passion for learning and the business environment<\/li>\n<li>Have a clean criminal and credit record<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Competencies Required<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A keen interest in learning<\/li>\n<li>Committed to completing the learnership<\/li>\n<li>Determined to succeed<\/li>\n<li>A positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)<\/li>\n<li>Good sense of judgement<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Self-disciplined and self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Good problem solving skills\/initiative<\/li>\n<li>Service oriented<\/li>\n<li>Results oriented<\/li>\n<li>Great attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Takes ownership and responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Action oriented<\/li>\n<li>Closing Date: 6 October 2015\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/careers.metropolitan.co.za\/psp\/Applicant\/EMPLOYEE\/HRMS\/c\/HRS_HRAM.HRS_CE.GBL\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to Application Process<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Momentum Short-term Insurance, in partnership with INSETA (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority), is offering young South Africans a fantastic learning opportunity in the short-term insurance industry.
